It's something that's been constantly at the back It's something that's been constantly at the back of your mind; opening a savings account for your child's education 👨‍🎓 There's no better time than now to open one. Here's how:

💜Have a child - through birth or adoption. Adults in Canada can open a RESP for a grandchild etc., but we'll focus on opening a savings account for your own child.
💜Pick a financial institution. @esdc.gc has a great list of financial institutions on their website. Find it in the full blog post! You and your child will need a SIN, which will be mailed to you after the birth is registered.
💜Start contributing. The earlier, the better. But don't be discouraged if you cannot start right away. It all helps.
💜Feel wonderful about doing something great for your child's future!
